1st Waitara Scout Group

The Variety B2B Bash started in Berowra this year (and heading to Bowen in Queensland) The Fundraiser started early in the morning of the 21st August, 1st Waitara Scout Group catering crew arrived at 5 am and if we run a BBQ fundraiser at the start. It was an amazing morning – lots of great cars and costumes from the teams and we raised heaps of money towards our new trailer, over $1,600 raised. We were unpacked by 10.30 am. Thank you all very much for the awesome effort you all put in over the weekend and especially yesterday in the most appalling wet and windy conditions. We improvised, changed plans, made new plans and in the end it all went very well. We had fed about 500 competitors by 4.15pm after majority finished at 3pm – a massive achievement & were packed up by 5pm. Thanks to our new volunteers – which included a record number of Joeys – good to see you all in action!! #Cateringcrew #Cu

Big thanks to all the fantastic team we had over the weekend, who once again excelled. We cooked over 500 Cheese Toasties and 180 Bacon & Egg Sandwiches as well as a delicious Soup and 2 Pasta Dishes at 6pm and 12 midnight. I think we nailed it again.
